To be honest I am a little burnt out on grunge… however I do love this.
Audrey Hepburn’s bitchy older sister
When I saw the caption on Fashion Gone Rogue for the January issue of Elle US “Suzie Bird evokes the timeless style of 50s icons such as Audrey Hepburn” I thought oh God not another one. How boring! But after I looked at the story I decided to make my own story up. Suzie Bird is Audrey Hepburn’s older sister, a much more serious and snarky woman. She rolled her eyes at the dinner table when Audrey would say some thing ridiculous and put her hand in front of her mouth and giggle. Audrey grew up trying to embody her older sister but because of her sweet free spirited and quirky ways could never be absolutely 100% sophistication.. almost though. Anyways I kinda love it.
